i started trying to make a game
where all directions were the same
after experimenting for some years
i took a look at closed packed spheres

these spheres themselves, form in a bunch
the math beneath, was just a hunch
took a sweep and looked in sectors
each root of n has fourteen vectors

is it big or is it small
does this fourteen have use at all
could it work for nuclear fusion
or just a dream, an illusion

from maps to math to chemistry
professors declare slight curiosity
physics too states "that's not my field"
for observers so learned, their basics are sealed

i question einstein, the logic of point source
with enough examples to give my own course
there are so many things i'd wish to report
i'd sure like that chance, for my day in court

now, as time seems to flutter by
who could suspect from this butterfly
that perhaps beneath those folded wings
lies unearthed some deeper things

if my theories are science fiction
i still don't have this predilection
pairs of paradoxes, quite abundant
though half of each is part redundant
